about

"Artist" statement: This is copkiller music. You can call it hardcore, industrial, whatever, but its genre is technically copkiller. I'm under no delusional fantasy that listeners are in any position appropriate for literally carrying out the acts this implies, but its purpose is also not mere catharsis. People have been listening to that old Body Count song forever, and most probably haven't ended human lives (not counting complicity in imperial state violence like what is transpiring in Palestine as I write this) but they've been inspired by those kind of songs.

The will to defy authority, resist domination, fight exploitation, keep a target on the real enemies in this world, which are the needlessly rich, or those who murder to climb any ladder they think will lead to that status. Make no mistake, white supremacy may employ a grip of idiots who will never see significant wealth, but it is an ideology motivated firstly by capital, and ultimately funded by that ruling class. BLM better known as the movement for Black Liberation = Anti-capitalism, and a crucial part in the pursuit of Total Liberation.

THX1312 was started in 2018 as a break from the duty to responsible social politics acting as cornerstone for the band Decide Today, and it often just sounds like if Itchy & Scratchy was breakcore, in other words unlike Decide this is just for fun on my end. But nothing is born in a vacuum, and fun is as political as anything really. I do hope it inspires the Anarchist spirit. I do hope it motivates people to stay actively enraged at our common enemies. And if it indirectly leads to righteous crimes or the deaths of law enforcement officers, well right on. JOKING. ONLY ENTERTAINMENT. NOT ADVOCATING VIOLENT CRIME. SECURITY CULTURE.

released March 1, 2024

Credz: Author of these crimes is need-to-know basis, but it's also obvious. Trax manufactured 2018-21. Mastered by Grant Richardson for Phage LP release. Thanx so much Sam, sorry it took forever.

Track 1 made 2021 after the guilty verdicts on Derek Chauvin. 2 initially contributed to a Ukrainian relief benefit compilation by Suck Puck. 3-6 originally submitted to Mobcore Chicago in trade for mastering work. 7 and 8 are slight edits to trax originally on Deathbomb Arc mixtape. 9 remix of a remix only on this record. 10 was on an abortion rights benefit compilation of some sort. 11 was on a compilation raising money for Chicago Community Bond Fund. 12 is the first track for this cide project made later 2018. This anthology combined with the first two mixtapes released in 2020 comprise the 1st complete body of work by THX1312.
